Michael P. De Santis, Co-Managing Member

Mike De Santis has more than twenty-five years of investment experience. Mr. De Santis was General Partner of De Santis Capital Management, L.P. (“DCM”), a precursor firm to Hangar 4 Partners LLC from 1990 through 2003. Prior to 1990, he was a Managing Director of Alex. Brown & Sons, where he was in charge of the firm’s technology research effort. From 1979 to 1984, Mr. De Santis was a founding partner and Director of Research for Robertson, Stephens & Company, an investment banking firm specializing in emerging growth and technology industries. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and graduated with B.A. and M.A. degrees in Economics from UCLA.
Bruce M. Lupatkin, Co-Managing Member

Bruce Lupatkin was the General Partner of North Bay Technology Partners, a precursor firm to Hangar 4 Partners LLC, from 1998 through 2003. Prior to that, Mr. Lupatkin was Director of Research for Hambrecht & Quist (H&Q) a major bracket investment banking firm specializing in technology, life sciences, branded consumer and services companies. Mr. Lupatkin was the Director of Research and Technology Strategist for H&Q from 1994 to 1998. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Lupatkin was co-director of Research and Technology Strategist (responsible for the technology, consumer and services segments of the H&Q research department). He served on H&Q’s Commitment Committee and Operating Committee from 1992 to 1998. From 1984 to 1992, Mr. Lupatkin was a leading technology analyst for H&Q covering a wide array of industry groups including defense electronics, the personal computer industry and the enterprise software industry. Prior to joining H&Q, Mr. Lupatkin was a technology analyst for Boettcher & Co. and a Systems Engineer at IBM. He holds a BS from the University of Michigan and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
